Design Challenge

It's here: the August Over Design Challenge

Pop the champagne. Blow the party horns. Hug and cheer. The new Over Design Challenge is here 🎉

And this month we’re all about the good stuff… A thing of beauty. A sun-kissed nap. A solid meme.

Our new theme is… JOY!

But sheesh, that’s an open brief, right? Just go with it. It’s a joy ride 😜

What’s up for grabs?

- A $100 voucher to spend in iTunes or Google Play 😍

- A feature on our Discover feed, and on our Instagram account.

And here’s how to enter:

  1. Create your joyous creation in Over
  2. Upload it to your Instagram (post, not Story) before 15th of August 2019
  3. Tag @Over and use the hashtag #OverDesignChallenge

We’ll announce the winner on the 19th of August 2019. There will be virtual confetti.

Let the joy flow through your fingers and into your design. Is it a collage of joy? Is it a glimpse into your inner world? Is it a stag leap across the heavens? Don’t hold back. Joy should never be confined. Hallelujah!

Here's some joyous inspiration to get your creative juices flowing…

Have fun!

And then we have PDF’s

These are for when you’re ready to print. Most printers will ask for you to send your design as a PDF file as it is a universal standard. This is because PDF’s are the safest bet for keeping all your design components intact and avoiding any unwelcome surprises when transposing your design from a digital file to a tangible object.

And that’s it! There are more image file formats out there, but for the best of us who create and share awesome designs with Over, the above is all we need to know.

Good News: We recently released a new ‘Export Preview’ feature so now you can view your image in a specific format to make sure that it is right before exporting.
